It was Aisulu Almaty's tenth win in 14 games. However, the Kazakh team had to tremble for a long time at fourth-placed Sabres St. Pölten. Elizaveta Diundina only scored the game-winner seven minutes before the end of the game. In the meantime, the Sabres were leading 1:0 and 2:1. In the end, however, the Lower Austrians conceded their fourth defeat in eleven games.

The KSV Highlanders, the second Austrian team, also suffered a narrow defeat. However, the Styrians did not take the lead once in their 3:4 against second-placed HK PSRZ Bratislava. It was not until seven seconds before the end that the fifth-placed team, which is one point behind the Sabres St. Pölten, scored to make the final score 3:4. The goal was scored by Vanessa Picka, who also scored to make it 2:3 in the meantime. It was Bratislava's tenth win in eleven games.
