Austria plays again at the Germany Cup
As in the past two years, Austria will take part in the Germany Cup in Landshut, Bavaria. Last year, head coach Roger Bader's team finished the invitational tournament in fourth place with no points. The tournament was won by hosts Germany. Austria's 26-man squad for this year's edition includes 20 players from the win2day ICE Hockey League. The opponents are once again the hosts Germany, Denmark and Slovakia.

Hungary hosts the “Sárközy Tamás Memorial Tournament” in Budapest
The other ICE nations Hungary, Italy and Slovenia are once again taking part in the “Sárközy Tamás Memorial Tournament” in Budapest, which Italy won last year. Poland is the fourth team to take part in the invitational tournament. All three ICE nations faced each other at the B World Championships in Bolzano in April. Hungary and Slovenia advanced, while hosts Italy finished third and left the tournament empty-handed. This week, from Thursday to Saturday, a total of 33 players from the win2day ICE Hockey League will be on the ice at the tournament in Budapest. The hosts have nine ICE players in their squad, while Italy have 17 and Slovenia seven.
