Devante Stephens Bolsters Salzburg's Blue Line
EC Red Bull Salzburg has added a seasoned defenseman from the American Hockey League to its roster, signing Canadian blueliner Devante Stephens. The 28-year-old joins from the Colorado Eagles and will make his debut in the win2day ICE Hockey League in the 2025/26 season. Standing 6'3" and shooting left, Stephens played 56 games in the AHL last season, picking up 12 points, and has logged over 300 career games in the league—suiting up for teams like Rochester, Syracuse, and Abbotsford. A 2015 draft pick of the Buffalo Sabres, he also won the Ed Chynoweth Cup with the Kelowna Rockets that same year.
