New arrivals for Zell am See, Asiago and Cortina

During the last weekend three teams of the Alps Hockey League announced new arrivals. While the EK “Die Zeller” Eisbären hired Joachim Andre Martinsen, Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey inked Steve McParland and S.G. Cortina Hafro signed Kevin King.

Joachim Andre Martinsen signed try-out contract at Zell am See
Norwegian forward Joachim Andre Martinsen received a try-out contract at EK “Die Zeller” Eisbären. The 20-year-old will play for the first time outside of his home country, after he was part of different youth teams at Valerenga, where he made his debut in the first team past season. He scored one goal in Norwegian first division.

Idaho Steelheads top scorer moves to Asiago
With Steve McParland, Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey signed past seasons Idaho Steelheads top scorer. He scored 122 points for the Steelheads in ECHL overall. Further, he was loan to different teams in American Hockey League. The 28-year-forward heads into his first season overseas.

Kevin King shipped at Cortina
S.G. Cortina Hafro signed Kevin King, after he played in the Elite Ice Hockey League for the past two seasons. He reached the quarterfinals past season with the Guildford Flames, collecting 19 points overall. Before he was part of Milton Keynes Lightning posting 62 points.
