HC Orli Znojmo presented with Tomas Jakes (CZE) their new Assistant Coach and with Dominik Tejnor (CZE) a new defenseman for the up-coming season. Besides HCB Südtirol Alperia extended the contract with defenseman Daniel Glira and defender Philippe Lakos stays at Champion UPC Vienna Capitals.

HC Orli Znojmo presented with Tomas Jakes (CZE) their new Assistant Coach and with Dominik Tejnor (CZE) a new defenseman. Jakes was as a player three times  Extraliga-Champion and defended many years successful in Polen. Now the 41-years old Czech starts a new chapter and starts at Znojmo his coaches career.
New defenseman at HC Orli Znojmo is Dominik Tejnor. The 23-years old, big defenseman played so far mainly in Czechs second highest League, where he scored 20 points from 119 games. Tejnor has also some Extraliga-experience, playing some games for Pirati Chomutov in the past four years.
 
Champion UPC Vienna Capitals extended the contract with Austrian defenseman Philippe Lakos, who will go already into his 15th season with the club 2017/18. Lakos is the only player, who was part of the team at the clubs both titles 2005 and 2017.
 
Daniel Glira will defend for HCB Südtirol Alperia also in the up-coming season. The 23-years old Italian made 2016/17 in his first season in Erste Bank Eishockey Liga 61 games for the „Foxes“ and scored eight points (4G/4A, Plus-Minus: +13!). The Youngster is also Italian National Team player, he defended for his home-country this year inter alia at the World A Championships at Köln.
