Tyler Steenbergen strengthens the offense of the EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV. The 26-year-old has already played 157 games in the American Hockey League (61 points). From 2021 to 2023, the winger, who can also play as center, was under contract with TPS Turku in Finland (81 games - 25 points).

Canadian Tyler Steenbergen played in his home country until the 2017/18 season before moving to the Tucson Roadrunners in the American Hockey League. He spent three seasons there, after that the forward signed on for the first time in Europe, with TPS Turku in Finland. The 26-year-old played 81 league games and eleven games in the Champions Hockey League for the Finnish team. Steenbergen's last employer was HK Poprad in Slovakia.

We want to add depth to the squad in the decisive phase of the championship and at the same time provide additional competition for our imports. Tyler also wants to use the opportunity to recommend himself to us with excellent performances for a contract in the coming season." Tyler Steenbergen has signed a contract in Villach until the end of the current season.
