Bratislava strengthens with two Slovak players
The iClinic Bratislava Capitals strengthen with a Slovakian forward as well as Slvakian defender. 24-year-old Boris Sádecký and 22-year-old Samuel Fereta will play for the Slovakian representative of the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League in the upcoming season.
Both forward Boris Sádecký and defenseman Samuel Fereta gained experience in the junior teams of the Slovakian national team. Both played in the first Slovakian league last season. Sádecký has also played in the KHL with Slovan Bratislava, where he scored two goals in the 2017 season. The 22-year-old defender Samuel Fereta was trained in the junior team of Slovan. Most recently, he worked for Team HC Nové Zámky.

Linz signs Thomas Höneckl
Thomas Höneckl went through all the junior teams of EC Red Bull Salzburg and was able to prove himself in the 2007/2008 season for the first time in the first team. The Schwarzach-born goalkeeper remained with the Bulls until the 2011/2012 season. In 2012/2013, the Austrian goalkeeper signed with VSV and played there for three seasons. Then in 2016 the goalie played for the Moser Medical Graz99ers. Five years later, in the 2020/2021 season, Höneckl signed with the Bulldogs.
Dan Ceman, head coach of the 1992 Steinbach Black Wings, said, "By signing Thomas, we can say that we have two goalies on the squad that we can rely on to win crucial games for us. Last season Thomas was able to shine in the playoffs, was very likeable in the dressing room and will be an ideal addition to our team."
The Linz team was also able to sign defenseman Laurin Müller, who played last season first with the Steel Wings and then with VEU Feldkirch in Alps Hockey League.
