New players for Zell am See, Pustertal, Fassa and Steel Wings Linz

As already known for some time, the EK Zeller Eisbären will cooperate with Erste Bank Eishockey Liga-club EC Panaceo VSV in the upcoming season. Now five of the six players who will leave Villach to Zell am See are known. New signings were also announced by HC Pustertal, Fassa Falcons and AHL-newcomer Steel Wings Linz. Additionally Pustertal and Asiago Hockey announced contract extensions.

Six players will be transfered from EC Panaceo VSV to EK Zeller Eisbären. At the goalkeeping position Alexander Schmidt will be delivered to Pinzgau. In the defense, there will be a try-out between Peter Paul Sivec and Luca Kohlmaier at the beginning of August, in which it will be decided who will receive the place in the cooperation. In the offense Benjamin Lanzinger, Bendikt Wohlfart, Marcel Judth and Benjamin Trink are transfered to Zell am See.

Two new players for HC Pustertal
Two new signings and one contract extension were announced by HC Pustertal. Yuri Cristellon moves from Pergine to Bruneck. In the Serie B the 1️8-year-old scored 1️3 goals and made nine assists in the past season. Second newcomer of Pustertal is Davide Conci. The 2️3-year-old played the last three seasons for AHL-rival Asiago Hockey. In addition the runner-up of the past season announced the contract extension with Maximilian Leitner. The contract of the 2️0-year-old was extended for three further seasons.

New signings for Fassa
New players for the Fassa Falcons. 2️1-year-old Joseph Mizzi will play for the Italians from the upcoming season. Last season the right wing played for three different clubs in North America. Especially for the Aurora Tigers “A” in the OJHL the Canadian was successful. In 45 games he scored 32 goals and made 33 assists. In addition to Mizzi, Lucas Chiodo will play for Fassa from the upcoming season. For the 2️0-year-old left wing from Canada, Fassa is the first station outside his home country too. Last he played at the Ottawa 67`s in the OHL. In 2️8 games he scored ten goals and made 1️9 assists.

AHL-newcomer Steel Wings Linz commits new player
Alps Hockey League newcomer Steel Wings Linz announced the signing of Patrick Gaffal. The 2️4-year-old was already playing for Linz as a junior. Most recently, the defender was active at league rival EK Zeller Eisbären.

Contract extensions in Asiago
Asiago Hockey announced the contract extension with Phil and Chad Pietroniro. The two brothers from Canada play since the season 2️017/1️8 for Asiago. Both players possess an Italian passport in addition to the Canadian passport. Phil Pietroniro has already played 3 caps for Italy.
