New players in Jesenice and Sterzing

HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice has signed Slovenian forward Timotej Kocar, who spent the past four years overseas. Besides, the Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan welcomed US-offensive defenseman Jamie Milam and announced the contract extensions with the Italians Dominik Bernard and Michael Messner. And Italian Max Oberrauch will go for goals and points for HC Pustertal Wolves in the upcoming season too.

HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice has signed forward Timotej Kocar. The 23-years old Slovenian, who spent the last four years overseas, went for goals and points for the Finlandia University in the NCAA III since 2016, scoring seven points (3G/4A) out of 41 games. Prior, Kocar has already played in Italy and in his home-country Slovenia.

Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan have signed Power Play specialist Jamie Milam. The 35-years old US-American will add much experience to the team as well. The offensive minded defenseman came to Europe 2008 and has already defended for clubs from Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Great Britain, Poland, Norway, Slovakia, where he earned the title with HK Nitra 2016, and Hungary. Last season, Milan spent with DVTK Jegesmedvék. For the Hungarians the 35-years old US-American played 60 games in the Slovakian League 2018/19 and scored 25 points (9G/16A). Besides, Sterzing has extended the contracts with the defensemen Dominik Bernard and Michael Messner.

Max Oberrauch stays in Bruneck. The 35-years old Italian power-forward, who is known as a reliable goalscorer, teamplayer and hard worker, will already start into his 16th season with Vice Champion HC Pustertal Wolves 2019/20. Last season, Oberrauch had 47 points (28G/19A) out of 53 matches. Besides, Thomas Erlacher has retired after twelve seasons playing for the Wolves.
