EC-KAC II got Austrian U20-Nationalteam defenseman Niklas Würschl back from Sweden. Slovenian goalie Urban Avsenik joins HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice. Plus: Important contract extensions in Feldkirch and Gherdeina.

Youngsters join Jesenice and Klagenfurt
Urban Avsenik will be one of the goalies of HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice 2018/19. The 20-year old Slovene guarded the net of HK Celje (SLO) last year. Prior, Avsenik played for the youth teams of EC Panaceo VSV (AUT) three seasons.
 
Austrian U20 Nationalteam player Niklas Würschl returns from Sweden to his home-town Klagenfurt. The 18-years old defenseman played for the youth teams of Rögle BK during the last four years. Last season, Würschl defended 35 times for Rögles' U20 team, scoring 14 points (4G/10A).
 
The best goalscorer stays in Gherdeina
Linus Lundström will go for goals and points for HC Gherdeina valgardena.it 2018/19 as well: The 26-year old Swede was the best goalscorer in the team 2017/18, he potted 18 goals (and 20 Assists) out of 23 matches. 2016/17, Lundström netted most regular season goals (28) for HC Neumarkt RIWEGA in the Alps Hockey League. Besides, he has already won the Inter National League with EC Bregenzerwald 2013 and 2016.
 
Three contract extensions in Feldkirch
Captain Youssef Riener (D), Lucas Loibnegger (D) and Curtis Loik (F) continue to play for the FBI VEU Feldkirch in the upcoming season as well.
