New players in Salzburg, Villach and Znojmo

EC Red Bull Salzburg, EC VSV and HC Orli Znojmo presented new players. Lammers stays in Innsbruck.

HC Orli Znojmo have signed 28-year old US forward C.J. Stretch from DEL2 side Löwen Frankfurt. After moving to Europe in 2015, Stretch has consistently netted more than a point per game in Germany, winning DEL2 title with Frankfurt in 2016/17. "We are very pleased to welcome C.J. to our club as there was interest for his services from more teams," says sports manager Rostislav Docekal. "He has proved his skills and consistency in AHL and also in Germany playing for Frankfurt, one of the top sides of that league. We are bringing an elite center to the team."

Goalie Lukas Herzog went from EC VSV to EC Red Bull Salzburg. The 25 years old Austrian has played for EC VSV last season and had a save% of 92,1 and a GAA of 2.98 out of 28 games. Besides, the Austrians Trattnig, Pallestrang, Jakubitzka, Viveiros, Heinrich, Raffl, Rauchenwald, Herburger, Cijan, Schiechl, Hochkofler, Winkler, Baltram, Huber, Wappis and the Imports Raymond, Hughes will continue to play for the Mozart Citizens 2018/19 as well.

US-American Jason DeSantis is new player at EC VSV. The strong defenseman has played already for EC-KAC and HC TWK Innsbruck „Die Haie“ in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga from 2014 until 2017. DeSantis has defended for EHC Lustenau in the Alps Hockey League past season and has been the clubs Point best defenseman. Besides, the young Austrian forwards Christof Kromp, Benjamin Lanzinger, Philipp Wohlfahrt and goalie Alexander Schmidt will be players for Villach 2018/19 as well.

Canadian forward John Lammers will go for goals and points for HC TWK Innsbruck „Die Haie“ in the 2018/19-season as well.
