After his first professional years and winning a championship with the traditional club from Pilsen, Vojtěch Mozík – an undrafted defenceman – was given the chance by the New Jersey Devils to prove himself in the world's best league. In addition to seven NHL appearances, the right-handed shot established himself in the AHL with the affiliate team in Albany. After two successful seasons, he moved to the KHL, where he improved his offensive numbers from his North American stint, recording 30 and 25 points respectively in the two subsequent seasons. Between 2019 and 2023, Mozík was consistently among the leading players for Färjestad BK in the Swedish top league, Kunlun Red Star and Admiral Vladivostok in the KHL, and finally Rögle BK in the SHL. With Rögle, he also won the Champions Hockey League. Due to a serious knee injury, the Czech had to sit out the last season and a half. In Linz, he has initially been given a tryout contract valid until September.

Vojtěch Mozík: "Of course, it was a tough time for me to be away from the ice for so long. That's why I'm even more motivated and grateful to be able to continue pursuing my great passion. I want to be a role model for our young defence with my experience and lead by example every day."

Salzburg adds forward
After two seasons in the British Columbia Hockey League, Nick Poisson spent five years, from 2020 to 2025, playing for Providence College in the NCAA. In 170 games, he recorded 109 points, including 42 goals and 67 assists. This makes Poisson the player with the second-most games played in the history of the hockey programme. In his final two college seasons, he took on increasing leadership responsibility: first as an assistant captain and subsequently as captain of Providence College. During his college years, the Canadian also participated in development camps with the Vegas Golden Knights, Columbus Blue Jackets, and Florida Panthers. Last season, the forward played his first professional season. For the Abbotsford Canucks, Poisson recorded five goals and six assists in 43 AHL games. In nine additional appearances for the Kalamazoo Wings in the ECHL, he scored two goals and added one assist.

Nick Poisson: "I want to help the team win games every night in any way I can. Our goal is to compete for the championship in the league and also make an impact in the Champions Hockey League. I'm a two-way forward with a lot of energy who can make my teammates better. Offensively, I like to play with speed off the rush and look to shoot whenever the opportunity arises."
