Paul Huber, a native of Graz, has played for EC Red Bull Salzburg in recent years and recently celebrated another championship title with the team from Salzburg. The 23-year-old, who already played in Graz in his youth years, is also a current member of the Austrian national team and is currently in the preparation squad for the World Championship. Huber signed a three-year contract with the Graz99ers.

Paul Huber: "The move to Graz is due to the fact that I was looking for a new challenge and wanted a bigger role. Graz has all that, and after the talks with Philipp Pinter and Harry Lange I was immediately convinced. I'm looking forward to playing in my home town again and being able to perform in front of these fans in the Bunker once more. I hope that we will quickly grow together as a team and form a strong unit. We not only want to keep up with the best, but also challenge clubs like Salzburg or the KAC."

Fehérvár brings back Erdély
The now 28-year-old Csanád Erdély came to Székesfehérvár in 2011 and initially played in youth teams before joining the professional team of Hydro Fehérvár AV19 after a year in the United States. In the 2023/2024 season, Erdély played for Esbjerg in Denmark, where he scored 45 points in 68 games.

Csanád Erdély: "I got exactly what I expected from my first year as a legionnaire: I was able to play in a slightly different role and also experienced what it's like to play abroad. I think that this experience will improve my attitude towards my foreign teammates."

New goaltender for Vienna
The spusu Vienna Capitals strengthened their roster for the coming season with 31-year-old goaltender Tyler Parks. The US-American can already look back on a successful time in Europe. Both with Slovan Bratislava and the Straubing Tigers, he was able to draw attention to himself with strong performances. Most recently, Parks played for the Fort Wayne Komets in the North American ECHL.

Tyler Parks: “Vienna is a beautiful city and a good place to play hockey. I've heard nothing but good things about the organization and the city. My wife and I are expecting our first child, so it was important for us to find a great place to raise a family. Due to my height, I can cover large parts of the goal and try to cleverly adjust angles and put the shooter in trouble. My previous experience in Europe will definitely help me in Vienna. For example, the larger ice surface results in different shooting angles, which I can handle well. I know how tough hockey can be in Europe, you have to work hard every day to get the results you want.”

Fourth season for Tolvanen in Salzburg
Atte Tolvanen was signed by the EC Red Bull Salzburg during the 2021/22 season and has won the championship with Salzburg ever since. In the recently concluded 2023/24 season, which ended with the Red Bulls' third consecutive title, Tolvanen demonstrated his skills in 32 Regular Season games and 19 playoff games and formed the backbone of Salzburg's success. Starting this fall, Tolvanen will enter his fourth season with the Red Bulls.
