On Monday the Steinbach Black Wings 1992 and the HK SZ Olimpija signed new players. At Linz the signing of Kai Kantola was announced. At Ljubljana Wade Murphy was signed.

Offensive power for Black Wings
The Steinbach Black Wings 1992 signed the Canadian-born Kai Kantola. The 33-years-old forward, who has the Finnish and American citizenship, played the last four seasons with KalPa in Finland (123 points).
He spent most of his hockey career in the United States. The 33-years-old played for the Bowling Green State University for the longest time. In 2010, Kantola moved to Ilves in the Finnish Liiga. Five different clubs, 594 games and 286 points in the Liiga later, Kantola has now signed in Linz.

New right wing for Ljubljana
With Wade Murphy, the HK SZ Olimpija has a new Canadian right wing in its squad. The 27-years-old was active in Norway the past two seasons. The right-shooter played the rest of his career in North America.
Last season, Wade Murphy was active with Vålerenga in Norway. In 24 games, the right wing scored 15 points. The season before the Canadian was also engaged in Norway, with Narvik Hockey. The rest of his career he played in North America, in the ECHL, NCAA, BCHL and VIJHL.
