Milano Hockey Club have signed Italian-Canadian forward Lucas Chiodo. The 27-year-old spent last season in the Alps Hockey League with Asiago, recording 73 points in 50 league games and winning the Italian championship.

Chiodo developed in the OHL with the Barrie Colts and the Ottawa 67’s, where he collected 262 points (96 goals, 166 assists) in 288 games over four seasons. He moved to Europe in 2019 and made an immediate impact in the Alps Hockey League with Fassa, posting 54 points in 42 games. After a brief stint in Canada (University of Guelph), he continued his career in Italy (Sterzing, Meran) and in Scotland with the Fife Flyers, where he tallied 97 points in 128 games. In the 2025/26 season, he returned to Italy and enjoyed his most successful campaign to date with Asiago: 73 points in 50 league games and the Italian title. He also led the Alps Hockey League regular season with a +34 plus/minus rating.

Slovak Champion joins Ljubljana
Olimpija Ljubljana have added forward Josh Lawrence. The 24-year-old Canadian won the Slovak championship with Nitra last season. The speedy and technically skilled forward has previously played in the KHL, Liiga, and Switzerland.

“Josh is an exceptionally strong and fast skater, so I am convinced that our style of play will suit him very well. He is a player with great potential and is eager to take further steps forward in his career in the coming years,” said Olimpija manager Anže Ulčar.

Finnish Forward Duo for the Pioneers
The Pioneers Vorarlberg have signed two Finnish forwards, Ville Immonen and Marcus Kallionkieli, for the upcoming season. Immonen, 26, is a physically strong center known for his presence in the faceoff circle, his intense playing style, and his versatility. He brings experience from Finland’s Liiga and Mestis, as well as from U.S. college hockey. Kallionkieli (25) adds firepower on the wing as a goal-scoring threat. The former NHL draft pick (Vegas, 2019) combines speed, a strong shot, and physicality, and has already gained experience in North America and top European leagues.

Frigo enters 11th Season with HCB
Luca Frigo will remain with HCB Südtirol Alperia and is set to enter his eleventh season with the Foxes. The 33-year-old Italian national team forward has played 571 games in the win2day ICE Hockey League, recording 230 points. He was also part of Bolzano’s championship-winning team in 2018. The winger represented Italy at the 2026 Winter Olympics and at the IIHF World Championship, and has earned 188 international caps to date.
