In both games Matej Hocevar's team has been particularly convincing defensively, and in the box play statistics Linz is ranked second in the league (90.9%). The "Adler" are seventh in the standings and have scored in every game so far this year. In the Head-2-Head, Kitzbühel has still scored in all eight encounters with Linz.

Opponent HC Gherdeina valgardena.it is winless for three games, however, picked up a point last Saturday in Salzburg (1-2 OT).
