Brady Gilmour, who was selected by the Detroit Red Wings in the seventh round of the 2017 NHL Draft, is joining the BEMER Pioneers Vorarlberg. The 25-year-old center was USports champion last season with the University of New Brunswick and was crowned MVP of the university league.

The BEMER Pioneers Vorarlberg have secured the services of Canadian university MVP Brady Gilmour for the upcoming season. The 25-year-old center joins the Pioneers from the University of New Brunswick, known as one of Canada's leading hockey universities, and will strengthen the team starting next season. In the 2019-2020 season, he played alongside Oliver Cooper, who was also recently signed by the Pioneers. In the past season, his team had a perfect season without defeat and Gilmour was named MVP of the championship. He also won the gold medal with the Canadian team at the 2023 FISU University Games.
