In the third last game at the Rienzstadion, HC Pustertal was almost complete, only Traversa was missing. The home side started the game with a lot of momentum, but the guests from the Alps Hockey League showed a good performance and the first period ended goalless. After the restart, Dante Hannoun deflected a Caruso shot decisively to make it 1-0. After former HCP player Markus Gander equalised the score, Armin Hofer restored the lead one minute before the end of the period. Matthias Mantinger made the final decision for the Wolves with a shot from mid-range for the 3:1 final score.

EC GRAND Immo VSV played their fifth preseason game at Swiss top club EHC Biel. In an exciting and balanced first period, the home side scored the only goal. After the restart, first the Villach team equalised with a goal by Marco Richter, but only 22 seconds later the Swiss team took the lead again. After new goalie Andreas Bernard showed some good saves, the Eagles managed to equalise again: After a Collins pass to John Hughes, Anton Karlsson converted the marvellous combination of the first line. However, the National League club went ahead again on the power play and this time the Carinthians could not hit back. Eight seconds before the end, Biel even managed to score to make it 4:2.
