Already as a junior and at Brown University, Nick Lappin attracted attention before he landed with the New Jersey Devils in the 2015/16 season, making his first appearances and scoring goals in the AHL in the Albany jersey. In the three years that followed, he made his final breakthrough, making a total of 60 appearances as a two-way player, scoring five goals and three assists in the NHL with New Jersey, while continuing to play in the American Hockey League in an Albany jersey and with the Binghamton Devils. He spent all of the last three seasons in the second North American championship, playing for the San Antonio Rampage, Cleveland Monsters and Lehig Valley Phantoms: in total, Lappin made 274 appearances in the AHL, scoring 152 points (83G / 69A). Now begins his first adventure in Europe in the jersey of the Foxes.

"I'm already excited about my new challenge," were Lappin's first words, "I know that Bolzano has a great and winning past, so it's the perfect place to start my career in Europe. I can't wait for the season to start and to give everything for the team, with the goal of bringing the cup to Bolzano and its fantastic fans".
