With hiring Alexander Reichenberg, the Moser Medical Graz99ers reacted to the season ending injury of Dwight King using their last exchange possibility of the season.

Alexander Reichenberg arrived from Swedish SHL where he played for bottom-placed IK Oskarshamn (2 assists in 17 games). Prior that he showed up 36 times for Färjestad BK, collection five goals and three assists. Besides more than 400 games in Norway’s first division (Lillehammer and Storhamer), he played one season at HC Sparta Prag (42 games | 6 goals | 8 assists). With the national team he participated at two world championships and one Olympics.

„Alexander works hard all the year and he tries to be in front of the net always. He had several offers available, but he decided to come to Austria”, assistant coach Jens Gustaffson said.
