Hockey Milano Rossoblu will try to earn their first ever win in the Alps Hockey League in Lustenau. The Italians have been defeated in all three matches so far, allowing 15 goals.

The team having home-advantage has been successful in the last three meetings between the „Wälder“ and the „Furies“. But, watch out: The Red Bull Hockey Juniors have been convincing lately too: Leevi Laakso and Co. earned two Shut Out wins in a row against EC-KAC (A/7:0) and Sportivi Ghiaccio Cortina Hafro (H/2:0) and they have potted nine goals during that span. Besides, the Red Bull Hockey Juniors have a strong Power Play (PP%: 29,4): The Mozart Citizens have already scored five goals out of 17 Power Plays. While, the Austrians have won two consecutive matches, Sterzing has lost (1:3) in Lustenau lately.

Besides, the Italians have allowed fewest goals (6) during that span as well. Goalie Colin Furlong celebrated a Shut Out in Feldkirch (3:0) lately. EK Die Zeller Eisbären had problems to score lately: The team from Pinzgau has netted just two goals from 48 shots in the last two rounds, loosing both games against HK SZ Olimpija (1:2) and Champion Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey 1935 (1:4). Besides, Bruneck has been successful in both home-games against the Polar Bears so far (4:0, 6:4).

Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey 1935 is known as a very strong home-team. The Champion has won 22 consecutive home-games in the Alps Hockey League, during the last 10,5 month. 2018/19, the „Yellow-Reds“ have already been successful against EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau (4:3) and EC Bregenzerwald (6:2) at home. The Italians will try to extend their good run against the VEU Feldkirch, another team from Vorarlberg, on Friday. The West-Austrians have earned a 2:1-home-win over HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice on Sunday, but they are still without a road-win this season. Besides, Asiago has won all nine meetings with the VEU Feldkirch so far.
