With Ondřej Nedvěd the HC Gherdeina valgarden.it signed its last import for the upcoming season in Alps Hockey League. Further, the South Tyrolean extended the contract with Gabriel Vinatzer and took back 18-year-old goalkeeper Paul Hofer. Besides, S.G. Cortina Hafro tabbed Canadian forward Remy Giftopoulus. The HC Fassa Falcons and the EC Bregenzerwald announced roster updates too.

Val Gardena hires last import player
The HC Gherdeina valgardena.it signed Czech defender Ondřej Nedvěd. The 27-year-old has already played 80 Alps Hockey League games for HC Neumarkt Egna with gaining 21 goals and 28 assists. Last campaign he hit the ice for German third-division club Höchstadt Alligators. Further, the South Tyrolean announced the resigning of Gabriel Vinatzer and took back Paul Hofer. Vinatzer exactly played 100 AHL-games for Val Gardena in the past, collecting 82 points (28G | 54A). After three seasons at EV Regensburg’s youth squads, Hofer heads back to Val Gardena. 

S.G. Cortina Hafro signed Canadian forward
Last year’s quarterfinalist S.G. Cortina Hafro hired forward Remy Giftopoulus. The Canadian left Danish team Herlev Egales, where he posted 30 points (15G | 15 A) during his first season overseas. Prior that he played for Acadia University in his home country. 

Further roster updates at Fassa and Bregenzerwald
While the HC Fassa Falcons resigned 19-year-old Italian Sebastiano Soracreppa, who played 111 Alps Hockey League games for last year’s bottom placed team, the EC Bregenzerwald enlarged the contract with Karlo Skec and inked Laurin Müller and Simon Wolf (both Vienna Capitals Silver). For the Caps Wolf played eight Erste Bank Eishockey Liga games in the past.
