With a clear 6:2 road win against EC Bregenzerwald, HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice kept their chance for home advantage in the pre-playoffs alive. After getting the third consecutive win, the Slovenian side is still one point behind the current eighth placed Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan. In their last home game of the season Bregenzerwald got its fifth consecutive loss. After a non-goal opening frame, Rok Avensek got the guests on the scoreboard. Nik Pem doubled up later in the first, but the hosts responded immediately with Aleksi Järvinen pulling one back. Jaka Sodja restored the two-goal lead for Jesenice early in the last. After the hosts halved the deficit for the second time with Christian Ban, three more unanswered goals gave Jesenice in the end a clear advantage.

With their fourth shutout this season the Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan remain unbeaten against EC-KAC II and defended eighth spot in standings. The South Tyrolean got a 3:0 road win and snatched up the second season meeting too, while the Austrian side suffered the first defeat after three consecutive wins. Mitchell Nardi got the Broncos immediately on the scoreboard after 37 seconds played. During the first the game seemed balanced with a slightly advantage for the hosts, wo wasted two penalties. Brandon McNally doubled up for the Broncos early in the middle frame. Further in the second the home team took too many penalties (5), but goalie Florian Vorauer kept his sheet clean until the last break. He had 17 saves in the second, 34 in total. The game remained goalless in the final frame until Klagenfurt pulled their goalie about two minutes to go. Tobias Kofler’s empty-netter rounded off the score.

With the Rittner Buam getting a 4:1 road win against VEU Feldkirch the race for the fourth place continues. After Asiago got only one point out of the defeat by shootout against Ljubljana, Alps Hockey League’s first champion ever narrowed the gap to Asiago, trailing one point so far. The guests took fully control right from the beginning, with Andreas Lutz giving the South Tyrolean a tight 1:0 lead after the first. Ritten made the preliminary decision in the second frame. After Kevin Puschnik tied the game for Feldkirch on powerplay, Ritten immediately pulled one back on powerplay too with Thomas Spinell. Alexander Eisath increased the lead shorthanded and Johan Eriksson potted the 4:1 on full strength within the second. The game remained goalless in the third and Ritten secured the win.

The run of the Red Bull Hockey Juniors continued as they won the 13th consecutive game thanks to the clear victory obtained on the road in Cortina. The home team had a lot of absences. After a first phase of balance, the Austrians took the lead of the game. After the first goal of Feldner, the visitors advanced with Evertsson and Varejcka who took advantage of two mistakes of the opponents. After 43 seconds Schutz signd the 4:0. Then there was the show of Oliver Nordberg who scored three goals in a row. On 7:0 for the Red Bulls, the Cortina changed the goalkeeper: Marco De Filippo took the place of Luca Burzacca (31.). The Cortina mitigated the downside with the first goals of Barnabò and De Zanna but before the end of the central period, there was the penalty match for Devin Diomete. In the third time the Austrian's desire to win was not exhausted: Lobach and Kokkila set the final result at 9:2 for the Red Bulls who conquered the third place in the AHL's regular season. The Cortina remained in tenth place, which will also be the position at the end of the regular season before the pre-playoff.

Asiago momentarily lost the opportunity to directly earned the quarterfinals playoff and will have to wait for the last round. The big match of the evening has given many emotions but Ljubljana come out winner on shutouts for 5:4 as they passed for the fourth time in a row the Asiago even if for the first time the home team earned a point against the Slovenes. The yellow-red team recovered for this match Bina, Naclerio and Marchetti while Phil Pietroniro was always absent. In the first part of the time the special teams of the respective teams did not transform the powerplay. Then the Asiago passed in advantage with Michele Marchetti (11 ') with a slapshot (PP). But the team of the Slovenian capital first drew with Saso Rajasar with a shot at the intersection and then scored the second goal with Kristjan Cepon. This goal is validated after the video replay. In the second stage the pace was absolute and the Asiago first drew with Tessari and then at the distance they found the third goal with a missile of Alex Gellert. Despite earning a 4:1 home win against HC Gherdeina valgardena.it, the EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau missed its opportunity for the last direct playoff ticket. Lustenau has to participate in the pre-playoffs with home advantage. While the hosts got the second season win against Gherdeina, the guests suffered their fourth consecutive defeat. At the beginning Gherdeina had the better of the play and David Galassiti gave the underdog the lead after seven minutes. Lustenau struck back immediately: 21 seconds later Jürgen Tschernutter tied the game and Marc-Oliver Vallerand turned it around 34 seconds later. After these two quick goals, the hosts substituted Leo Kostner with former EC Bregenzerwald goalie Misa Pietilä, who showed some good saves in the first. Later in the second the home team convinced on powerplay: First David Slivnik and then Martin Grabher-Meier scored on man advantage and got their colors on winning ways.

Fassa Falcons returned to victory after 19 consecutive defeats as they closed the regular season with a 5:3 win against Kitzbühel thanks to the last seconds of the third period. The home team immediately took the lead with Diego Iori who will be the real protagonist of the game with three goals. The Falcons finished the first half with a 1:0 lead. In the second period, the Austrian team reversed the score in a short time: after the lightning-fast goal of Peter Lenes (in just 14 seconds!) in shorthanded, the Eagles took the lead in powerplay with Maximilian Egger. Then in the third half everything and more happened. Diego Iori signed the draw after 34 seconds but David Lidstrom brought the guests back. But the home team didn’t give up and, in the final, played the best minutes of the season. The two minutes against Marthinsen was decisive. Martin Gran scored 3:3 (58.) in 6 vs 4. After 37 seconds Diego Iori completed his hatrick at the end of a spectacular counterattack. Then it was again Martin Gran with empty net goal who fixed the 5:3 final for the Falcons.
