Massimo Carozza (#23) of HC Pustertal Wölfe time 56:25, was involved in an incident deemed as Fighting (IIHF Rule 141).

According to the Arbitrator and having considered the video evidence , player Massimo Carozza (#23) of HC Pustertal Wölfe, will receive supplementary discipline under rule 141 – Fighting.

On March 18th in Bruneck an incident occurred involving Pustertal player #23 Massimo Carozza which is deemed fighting.

As the video shows, Pustertal player #23 Massimo Carozza engages in a fight with Salzburg player #38 Julian Lutz.

Considering all teams have been told, fighting, roughing and altercations have been clearly defined for supplementary discipline purposes and there is no reason for this type of physical actions. The fact that game officials are not to enter altercations, fighting is banned and a fight puts multiple people at risk under Covid-19 conditions, supplementary discipline is required.

After review of the incident, the supplementary discipline will remain at the automatic 1 game suspension threshold.

Effective immediately, Pustertal player #23 Massimo Carozza is suspended for 1 game.
