This is high-sticking

It is important to note that players are responsible for maintaining control of their sticks at all times and must ensure that their stick actions do not make contact with an opponent in a dangerous or vulnerable area. In this situation, Soraruf raises his stick following the puck battle and makes contact with the opponent in the back/neck area. Players must be aware of the position of their stick at all times and ensure that it is kept under control when disengaging from a puck battle. This contact could have been avoided by keeping the stick lower and under control. Any stick action that makes contact with an opponent in the upper body or neck area carries a potential risk of injury and is therefore not considered an acceptable hockey play.
