Alex Petan scored again in the third game of the season for HC Pustertal Wölfe. In a 5-2 home win against Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey, the newcomer scored a hat trick to become win2day Top Performer of Round 3 for his performance.

HC Pustertal Wölfe is still without defeat after the first three rounds of the win2day ICE Hockey League, only in the 6-5 win after shootout in Innsbruck the South Tyroleans gave up a point. A big part in this strong start of the season of the "Wolves" has their newcomer Alex Petan, as the 31-year-old forward still has a goal-scoring streak available with five goals. Recently, Friday night in the 5-2 home win against Asiago, the Italian international, last playing for three seasons in Székesfehérvár, netted three times. He scored two goals on powerplay, to make it three goals in numerical superiority. With this performance, the 2018 ICE champion secured the win2day Top Performer award of the 3rd round.
