“It was the expected tough home game, after such a long break we did a good job. Sterzing is a strong team at home, they will try everything to equalize in the series. We have to be prepared for it to be tough. Little things will decide.”

For the 32-year-old forward, who was born in Zell am See, this is his fifth Alps Hockey League season with his hometown club. In the current season, Putnik has scored 40 points in 49 appearances so far. He has already been on the ice a total of 378 times in the Alps Hockey League, collecting 317 points in the process. In addition to Zell am See, Putnik has also played for Bregenzerwald, Lustenau and Kitzbühel in the AHL.

Semi-final two will take place on Tuesday at 20:00 in Sterzing. The game will also be available as a livestream on www.valcome.tv.
