The Pioneers Vorarlberg announced the signing of the two 21-year-old forwards Dominik Prodinger and Max Stiegler. Last season, Prodinger played for EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV — for whom he has already made 84 appearances in the win2day ICE Hockey League — as well as for Zell am See in the Alps Hockey League. Stiegler developed through the Red Bull Hockey Academy before moving to the Vienna Capitals in 2023, where he gained his first valuable experience in the win2day ICE Hockey League. He spent the past two seasons primarily with Zell am See.

Bolzano signs young talent Frick
HCB Südtirol Alperia have signed defenseman Noah Frick. The 18-year-old native of Bolzano is considered one of Italy’s top prospects at his position and most recently played in the Alps Hockey League, where he reached the final with HC Meran. Frick has also impressed internationally at several U18 and U20 World Championships.

Zanatta stays in Brunico
HC Falkensteiner Pustertal have extended the contract of Luca Zanatta. The defenseman, who recently represented the Italian national team at both the Olympic Games and the top-division World Championship, also impressed in his second season with the Wolves, recording 18 points.

Luca Zanatta: “I am proud to wear this jersey for the third consecutive year in a city that has truly become home for me and my family. I am very excited to continue this journey. I am ready to give everything on the ice to take back what slipped away from us last year!”

Budapest extends with Horváth
Milán Horváth will enter his second season with FTC-Telekom. The 25-year-old defenseman played 46 games last season. Overall, the blueliner — who played for Fehérvár between 2020 and 2023 — has appeared in 174 games in the win2day ICE Hockey League. At the most recent World Championship, Horváth was part of the Hungarian team that secured its place in the top division.
