Bottom of the table BEMER Pioneers Vorarlberg surprised Hydro Fehérvár AV19 in the only Monday match of the win2day ICE Hockey League with a 3:2 home win after overtime. Thus, the team from Feldkirch celebrated its first win over the Hungarians, who remain in eighth place in the standings and are now three points behind the sixth place. The Pioneers' gap to the tenth place is nine points. Already tomorrow, Tuesday, the ICE Hockey League continues with three games.

The guests from Székesfehérvár found more scoring chances in the first minutes of the game, but it was the BEMER Pioneers Vorarlberg who took the lead in the tenth minute of the game thanks to Julian Metzler. In the second period it took only a little more than five minutes before Anze Kuralt equalized for Hydro Fehérvár AV19. Again, just about two minutes later, it was Metzler again who scored for the Pioneers. It was the 22-year-old's first brace in the win2day ICE Hockey League. Vorarlberg's lead held until two minutes before the end of the game, when Brett Findlay equalized. In the following overtime it took only 17 seconds before Alexander Pallestrang could decide the game for the Pioneers. It was the first win for the Vorarlberg team in the fourth ICE duel. The other three duels of the season went clearly to Fehérvár (3:0, 4:0, 5:2).
