EC-KAC fills its sixth Legionnaire spot on the squad for the upcoming 2023/24 season with defenseman Paul Postma, who is already established in Klagenfurt. The contract with the Canadian was automatically extended after the club did not exercise the time-limited exit option enshrined in the existing working paper.

Paul Postma moved to Klagenfurt in December 2020 and immediately proved to be a decisive factor in the KAC game. While the first twelve months of his engagement with the EC-KAC were overshadowed by three injury breaks, the defender has since become one of the most reliable players in the team, missing only one of the last 89 league games for health reasons. The defender impresses with his scoring qualities. In 118 appearances in the win2day ICE Hockey League, Postma recorded 96 scoring points (34 goals, 62 assists).
