On the upcoming weekend some teams of the Alps Hockey League will continue their preseason. HC Fassa Falcons, EK Zell am See und Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey have presented new players and contract extensions.

Cortina wins AHL-duel, walkover for HK SZ Olimpija

On Thursday Sportivi Ghiaccio Cortina Hafro has won his second game in the preseason as well. Against league-rival HC Fassa Falcons Cortina earned a 6:2-victory. HK SZ Olimpija has opened his preseason with a walkover. The Slovenian celebrated a 8:1-win against KSV Hockey at the 4-nations-cup in Kapfenberg (AUT).

Again some scrimmages at the upcoming weekend

At the upcoming weekend EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau will face ESV Kaufbeuren for his third preseason game so far. HK SZ Olimpija will finish his participation at the 4-nations-cup in Kapfenberg with a game against the Rumanian team Braso. Furthermore EC-KAC II will play against Fehervari Titanok (HUN). The EK Zeller Eisbären will open his preseason-activities against the German team EC Bad Nauheim at home. One AHL-duel will follow on Monday: Sportivi Chiaccio Cortina Hafro faces HC Gherdeina valgardena.it.

HC Fassa Falcons adds Anton Östman and extends Marco Lorenz

HC Fassa Falcons has added Anton Östman to his roster. The 27-year old forward arrived from French team Mulhouse. For Mulhouse, he had 27 points last season. Moreover the Falcons enlarged the contract with Marco Lorenz. The 21-year old Italian has already played six games in the Alps Hockey League during the last two years.

Silvestrs Selickis completes roster of EK Die Zeller Eisbären

EK Die Zeller Eisbären has finished his transfer-activities with adding another import player to the roster. Silvestrs Selickis strengthens the Austrians in the upcoming AHL-season. The 20-year old Latvian played predominately in his home country. During 16/17 he gained experience in Germany at Augsburger EV 19. Furthermore some more young players will get the chance to compete in the Alps Hockey League.

Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey boosts his roster

The Italian Club has inked Michele Marchetti from reigning EBEL-champion HCB Südtirol. The 23-year old Italian stayed the last two years at Bozen. For the foxes he played 112 games in the EBEL and scored 14 points. Marchetti has experience from playing overseas and for the Italian national team.
