On Saturday 7.15 p.m. the leader of the league hosts the challenger from Salzburg. After two defeats in a row the Caps aim to comeback on the road of success. The Red Bulls have the chance to extend their three games winning streak.

  • After the best start into a season (12 wins) the Capitals got defeated twice recently
  • Salzburg won the past three games and scored 20 goals.
  • The Caps won the first duel of these two teams with 4:0.
  • The Caps struggled with their powerplay in the past two games. They scored no goals in five powerplays.
  • Still both teams are the most efficient teams in powerplay (VIC 32,2 %, RBS 24,6 %)
Serge Aubin, Headcoach der Caps „Salzburg struggled a bit in the beginning of the season, but in the las three games they found their rhythm and scored 20 goals. This is a proof of their excellent offense. We must play concentrated right from the beginning and focus on the details. Salzburg will use every mistake we make.”
