After the six-game winning streak of HC Pustertal Wölfe was destroyed on Saturday (1:2 OT vs. JES), the South Tyroleans immediately returned to the winning ways on Wednesday. The second in the table recorded a 4:2 road win at EC Bregenzerwald. The "Wälder" thus had to admit defeat also in the seventh consecutive duel with HCP. The guests got off a great start: Danny Elliscasis (2.) scored already after 96 seconds - and only 27 seconds later Armin Hofer (3.) increased to 2:0 for the "Wölfe". But the Vorarlberg team fought back and used their first power play to score the equalizer through Adem Kandemir (13./PP1). Richard Schlögl (31.) then managed to equalize almost halfway through the game. However, this was still answered in the second period by Tommaso Traversa (36.). The 30-year-old then set the decision with his first brace - and five seconds left in the game.
