Wolves take tenth straight home-win
HC Pustertal Wölfe has won its tenth home game in the current season of the Alps Hockey League too. With the 1:0 over Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey, the South Tyroleans not only took revenge for the 1:3 defeat in the first encounter of the season, they also strengthened their top position in the standings and are now six points ahead of Ljubljana. The "Wolves" were defensively very stable, in the first two periods they allowed only seven shots on goal and disciplined. Only two penalties were taken by the team from Bruneck. The decisive game-winner was scored by Armin Hofer after eleven minutes. Hannes Stoll defended the minimal advantage in the final frame, saving in the end 21 shots on his goal and held the shutout of the "Wolves".

Broncos win after shootout despite two-goal lead
The Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan celebrated their third win in the "Home-and-Away" round with a 4:3 victory after shootout at SHC Fassa Falcons. It was only their second success on the road. Fassa had to admit defeat again after two wins recently - but fought for this one point, which could still become very important for the semifinals of the Italian championship. An early 2:0 lead of the guests after exactly five minutes was equalized by Fassa, which did not take any penalty, with two powerplay goals until the 34th minute. However, Trevor Gooch restored the "Broncos" lead with his second goal of the game. Davide Schiavone (42.) then sent the game into overtime, where only in the shootout the decision was made in favor of the road team.
