Pustertal signs ECHL topscorer

With 74 points, Aaron Luchuk was the ECHL's top scorer in the 2020/21 season. Last season, the Orlando Solar Bears forward also scored impressive 41 points in 31 games before moving to the American Hockey League. Now the 25-year-old Canadian moved to Europe for the first time, to the HC Pustertal Wölfe, where he signed a contract for the upcoming season.

The only 25-year-old forward can look back on experience in the American Hockey League and the ECHL and won the prestigious Memorial Cup in his junior days. For the Windsor Spitfires, Luchuk scored the championship winning goal in 2017. In the OHL, moreover, he was crowned the season's topscorer in 2018. The Canadian from Ontario spent his professional career four seasons in the ECHL and AHL. The last two years the technically skilled left-shooter played with the Orlando Solar Bears.
