Pustertal wins Master Round | Jesenice and Ljubljana secure third and fourth place

Jesenice conquers pick right and home advantage
HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice celebrated a 4:3 victory against HC Pustertal, the winner of the Master Round, and thus made it to third place in the table. With this victory the Slovenian secured the third pick right and home advantage in the quarter finals. Pustertal still took the lead in the first section. In the middle third Jesenice ignited the turbo and set the score to 3:1, but Pustertal fought back in the middle third. Mirko Djumic finally made the decision in the final section.

Cortina Hafro missed the chance for first place
S.G. Cortina Hafro missed the big chance in the last round of the regular season to still conquer the first place in the regular season. Cortina fought against Ritten until the overtime but could not conquer the necessary extra point. Ritten took the lead twice in this game, but Cortina always fought back. In overtime Matthew Lane made the decision for the Buam. Despite the overtime victory, Ritten missed the home advantage in the quarter-finals by a hair's breadth, as Ljubljana, who had the same number of points, had the better placement in the regular season phase.

Ljubljana captures fourth place
HK SZ Olimpija Ljubljana celebrated a 3-1 victory over Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey, securing fourth place in the standings. Asiago finished the Master Round in sixth place. Ljubljana took the lead in an even start third. Asiago was still able to strike back in the middle third, but the Slovenians acted more efficiently in the final section.

Qualification Round A
In the Qualification Round A, all seats were already taken before the last round. The Red Bull Hockey Juniors, who won their playoff tickets in the penultimate round, suffered a defeat at the end of the intermediate round. The Broncos ended the season with a 6-2 success. With a 2-0 lead in the first period, Sterzing laid the foundations for success early on and ended the season in second place in Qualifying Round A.

HC Gherdeina, who had already secured third place in Qualification Round A before this round, celebrated an 8:6 victory over EC KAC II at the end of the regular season. Matt Wilkins scored a hat trick, James McGowan collected six scorer points.

EHC Lustenau finished the season with a 4:3 shootout victory over the Vienna Capitals Silver. The Viennese were already leading 3:1 in this match but could not stop the Vorarlbergers in the last section.

Qualification Round B:
VEU Feldkirch secured the first place in the table in the penultimate round and the play-off ticket associated with it. At the end of the intermediate round Feldkirch scored a narrow 6:5 victory in the match against Kitzbühel. Feldkirch started the match strong, but Kitzbühel fought their way back into the match but could not turn the match around.

Fassa scored a 6:1 victory over Steel Wings Linz in the last game, confirming their second place in the table. The EK Zeller Eisbären ignited a goal festival at the end of the season and celebrated an 11:6 victory over Bregenzerwald. The Vorarlbergers scored six goals in the final section alone. Tomi Wilenius scored four goals, Jure Sotlar recorded seven assists. With 17 goals in only one game a new AHL record was set.
