The race for the six quarterfinal and four per-playoff spots is entering its final week. On Sunday, there are four direct duels between teams that are close to each other on the schedule. Live on PULS 24, HC TIWAG Innsbruck wants to get back into the race for the top-10 in the clash with the Moser Medical Graz99ers. Meanwhile, HK SZ Olimpija Ljubljana will face HC Tesla Orli Znojmo and HCB Südtirol Alperia will meet EC-KAC in a direct duel for the top-6.

Varification of games #255 and #270
The permanently neutral Arbitration Panel of the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League has annulled the decision of the COVID-19 Special Commission regarding the substitute certifications of the games #255 (KAC-HCB) and #270 (AVS-HCB) and returned the matter to the COVID-19 Special Commission for further deliberation and decision making. The standings are to be kept as "provisional" until the final decision in this matter. The scores of the games in question will remain 0:5 in the table from the point of view of HCB until the final decision. A decision will be made in the next few days.

bet-at-home ICE Hockey League, Sunday, 20.02.2021:

20.02.2021 17:30 Hydro Fehérvár AV19 - EC Red Bull Salzburg
Referees: FICHTNER, SIEGEL, Jedlicka, Konc >>PPV-Livestream<<

The currently third-placed Hydro Fehérvár AV19 and league leader EC Red Bull Salzburg will meet on Sunday for the top match of the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League. The Hungarians made a clear statement in the race for direct quarter-final qualification on Friday with a 7:0 clean win against EC-KAC. Currently, the second place in the table is within reach again. Salzburg recorded an almost equally clear success on Friday. The league leaders defeated last-place Linz 7:1. For the Red Bulls, both Thomas Raffl and bet-at-home ICE Hockey League top scorer Peter Schneider scored a brace. Salzburg is the only team against which Fehérvár have not yet recorded a win this season. In the previous three encounters, the devils captured only one point.

20.02.2021 17:30 HC TIWAG Innsbruck - Moser Medical Graz99ers
Referees: BERNEKER, NIKOLIC K., Martin, Seewald | LIVE ON PULS 24 and in Free-Stream

LIVE on PULS 24 the HC TIWAG Innsbruck hosts the Moser Medical Graz99ers in the fight for the Pre-Playoffs. With a win, the Sharks could get close to the Styrians again. However, if the Styrians win, they would already have at least one leg in the pre-playoffs. After the extremely successful double-header against Hydro Fehérvár AV19, the Graz team recently suffered a 0:2 defeat against the spusu Vienna Capitals. The Sharks, on the other hand, ended their four-game losing streak on Tuesday and thus bounced back in the fight for the top-10. All three previous season duels between Innsbruck Graz ended with a result of 3:2 - one more in favor of the Styrians. In the last meeting just under a month ago, Adis Alagic scored the game-winning goal.

20.02.2021 18:00 HCB Südtirol Alperia - EC-KAC
Referees: STERNAT, ZRNIC, Basso, Hribar >>PPV-Livestream<<

With HCB Südtirol Alperia and EC-KAC two contenders for a top-6 place duel on Sunday. However, both the reigning champions and the reigning runners-up have failed to live up to their potential recently. The KAC have gone without a point in their last three matches in a row and have not scored in 152:46 minutes. This represents the KAC's second-longest offensive drought in league games: Only in October 2013 did Klagenfurt have to wait 187:36 minutes for a goal. Things aren't going any better for the South Tyroleans at the moment either: the Foxes were defeated in both games after their break. In the first two actual meetings between these two teams, the home team prevailed in each case.

20.02.2021 18:00 HK SZ Olimpija Ljubljana - HC Tesla Orli Znojmo
Referees: NIKOLIC M., TRILAR, Hribar, Zgonc >>PPV-Livestream<<

Also in the duel between HK SZ Olimpija Ljubljana and HC Tesla Orli Znojmo two teams meet, which are in the middle of the fight for the top-6. In the race for the direct qualification for the quarterfinals, the Czechs had to accept another damper with their shootout defeat against Pustertal. It was already the third defeat in the last four games. The Slovenians also had to admit defeat against the South Tyroleans most recently, ending their run of success after victories over Salzburg and KAC. In the three duels with the Eagles so far, the Dragons have taken seven out of a possible nine points.
