For the sixth and last time this season Erste Bank Eishockey Liga is looking for #glaubandich Young Star of the month. Five young players are up for election again, the voting closes on Monday.

Jannik FRÖWIS (1999) – Dornbirn Bulldogs

  • The 20-year-old played all 50 games of the season for the Vorarlberg side, playing 10:49 minutes on average
  • in February's home games against Znojmo and Villach he scored his first goals in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga
  • he scored two goals and posted four assists past season


Julian PUSNIK (1999) – EHC Liwest Black Wings Linz

  • after he was out due to an injury, he returned before Christmas 
  • after playing the past two years at Sweden, he showed up 23 times for Linz 19/20
  • on February, 29th he scored ist first goal in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga, as Linz lost after overtime to Fehérvár


Dante HANNOUN (1998) – HCB Südtirol Alperia

  • the 21-year-old moved to Bolzano around Christmas, after he played in the ECHL
  • he played a total of 19 games
  • he dished the assist for the game winner in foxes' road win at Klagenfurt securing first place after pick round


Vladimír OŠČÁDAL (1998) – HC Orli Znojmo

  • the 21-year-old played 49 games for Znojmo in the past season
  • it was his second full season in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga
  • in February he scored two goals in the home games against Innsbruck and Dornbirn


Benjamin LANZINGER (2000) – EC Panaceo VSV

  • after Lanzinger started the season at EK Die Zeller Eisbären in the Alps Hockey League, he was used in Villach more often from January on
  • the forward was part of Austria's U20 national team, which clinched a spot for the upcoming world championship division one
  • on February, 11th he scored his first goal of the season in Villach's 5:2 home win against Fehérvár
