In the only Tuesday game of the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League, EC Red Bull Salzburg celebrated an evident 6:0 shutout victory as guests of Steinbach Black Wings 1992, further securing fifth place in the table for the moment. Thomas Raffl recorded his first hat trick of the season.

EC Red Bull Salzburg prevailed for the 30th time since the league was founded as guests of the Steinbach Black Wings 1992 in. After a goalless starting period, the EC RBS really got going. Captain Thomas Raffl opened the scoring before David McIntyre and Austin Ortega were able to celebrate their first goals for the Red Bulls. The Salzburg captain eventually added two more to make his first hat trick of the season. The guests eventually prevailed clearly with 6:0. For back-up goalie Jesper Elisasson, who was preferred to J.P. Lamoureux today, it was the first shutout in the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League. With this success, Salzburg, still in fifth place, increased their lead over the Dornbirn Bulldogs to seven points and opened the door to early playoff qualification.
