Friday-games in Erste Bank Eishockey Liga bring re-union with their former teams for some players. Saturday follows Innsbruck vs. Zagreb.

>>EC VSV makes his first road-game 2017/18 at Szekesfehervar. The Eagles started with wins against KHL Medvescak Zagreb (6:1) and the Moser Medical Graz99ers (4:3) perfectly into the season. In this two games the Carinthians were on Fire, they scored ten goals! Fehervar AV19 collected their first two points in the last round at Zagreb, they won in Croatia 4:3 after Overtime. The Devils made a jump forward in the ranking to place 8, but still have received the most goals (12).
>>Andrew Sarauer returns with EC VSV on Friday for the first time to Szekesfehervar. The Canadian, who has also a Hungarian passport, spend the last four years  in Hungary and scored for Fehervar AV19 178 points from 206 #EBELgames. On the other side Olivier Latendresse welcomes with Fehervar AV19 his former team from Villach. While Sarauer made already three points for the Carinthians, Latendresse is still waiting for his first point for Fehervar AV19.
>>Fehervar V19 and EC VSV will face for the 54th time. So far 33 times (including one Pre Season game) Villach left the ice as the winner, 20 times won the devils. The last seven meetings were won by the home-team. It is already 592 days ago, that Villach left Szekesfehervar as the winner (January 31st 2016).
>>With Fehervar AV19 (in average: 25,25 years old) and EC VSV (in average: 25 years old) the two youngest teams will face each other.
>>Markus Schlacher of EC VSV will make his 600th Erste Bank Eishockey Liga-game.

>>EC-KAC and HC Orli Znojmo faced last season in the Quarterfinals. Klagenfurt won the series 4:0, the Red Jackets even won the last five games vs. the Czechs.
>>The two teams had a different start into the season: While the Czechs won both games, Klagenfurt lost twice. The Czechs also played strong defense so far and received just two goals in 120 minutes. Lately Marek Schwarz even had a Shut-out, Znojmo beat Salzburg 4:0.
>>HC Orli Znojmo makes his first road-game 2017/18 at Klagenfurt.

>>HCB Südtirol Alperia will play his home-opener against the Dornbirn Bulldogs this Friday. The road-trips to Innsbruck and Linz brought no points for the Foxes. The Dornbirn Bulldogs on the other side got points from both games so far: The Vorarlberger won at Salzburg and got one point from the west-derby vs. Innsbruck on Tuesday at home.
>>Brodie Reid returns with the Dornbirn Bulldogs on Friday for the first time to South Tyrol. The 28 years old Canadian played the last two years for the Foxes and scored 81 points from 93 games. Also Sean McMonagle and Ziga Pance had a successful time at Bozen already and are now DEC-players.
>>Both teams want to return on the winning-street after defeats: Bozen lost (incl. PreSeason) the last three games, Dornbirn once.
>>The Dornbirn Bulldogs won the last two clashes against Bozen and also the last games at Bozen.

>>HC TWK Innsbruck „Die Haie“ had a perfect start into the season: The Sharks won their first two games against Bozen and Dornbirn. KHL Medvescka Zagreb collected their first point against Fehervar AV19 in the last round.
>>After 1.793 days KHL Medvescak Zagreb is guest at Innsbruck on Saturday again. The Bears won so far all three games in Tyrol. Last time on October 19th 2012 clearly with 5:0.
>>The match Innsbruck vs. Zagreb ist the first game this season, which is played on a Saturday! The Bears are in action then also on Sunday at Dornbirn, HCI’s netxt game is on Tuesday at Graz.
>>Both teams had to go in Overtime last round. While Innsbruck won 4:3 in Dornbirn, Zagreb lost to Fehervar AV19 with the same result.
>>KHL Medvescak Zagreb has the better Special teams (PP, PK) as Innsbruck.
