EC Red Bull Salzburg has earned their first win in Erste Bank Eishockey Liga after the November Break on Saturday. The Mozart Citizens have won the Austrian clash against spusu Vienna Capitals at home (4:3/SO).

EC Red Bull Salzburg and spusu Vienna Capitals have faced each other on eye-level (28:32-shots) in the Mozart City. In the first period, the goalies Stephen Michalek and Jean Philippe Lamoureux allowed no goals. The break through has finally came in minute 25: Van De Velde potted the first goal for the Mozart Citizens from near by – 1:0. The next minutes have been very exciting, three goals have been scored within four minutes: Rafael Rotter (31.) netted the 1:1. The Red Bulls stayed unimpressed and Dustin Gazley re-took the lead for his team with a shot from close range just 67 seconds later. But, the guests responded again with a big shot from the circle from defenseman Patrick Peter in minute 35 – 2:2. Period three started perfect for the guests: Kelsey Tessier surprised goalie Stephen Michalek with a shot from the distance after just 73 seconds – 3:2 (42.). The Caps did more for the offense now, but the next goal was scored by the hosts: John Hughes netted the 3:3 in minute 52 and brought the game to Overtime, which stayed goalless. Ryan Duncan netted the Game Winner for the Red Bulls in Shoot Out.
