KHL Medvescak Zagreb welcomes EC Red Bull Salzburg on Tuesday (19:15). Plus: Dornbirn Bulldogs have signed power-forward Alexandre Picard (CAN).

• Bottom club KHL Medvescak Zagreb (12.) and EC Red Bull Salzburg (5.) will face each other twice within just eight days, in Zagreb on Tuesday (19:15) and  then, in Salzburg one week later.
• Each club will try to return on the winning street in Zagreb on Tuesday. The Austrians stayed without points in their last match in Graz on Friday (4:5) and the Croatians have even been defeated in 20 straight games (negativ record).
• EC Red Bull Salzburg will travel with good memories to the Croatian Capital on Tuesday. Thomas Raffl and Company have won both season-meetings with the Bears so far, netting five goals per game.
• KHL Medvescak’s defense will be required on Tuesday, because with Salzburg the best offense will arrive in Dom Sportova. The Red Bulls have potted most goals in this Erste Bank Eishockey Liga season (151) so far, while the Bears have allowed most goals (205) and have scored fewest goals (71). Besides, the Croatians could not score in four out of their last five games.

New arrival in Dornbirn
The Dornbirn Bulldogs have signed power-forward Alexandre Picard. The 33-year old Canadian hs already played in the NHL (76x), AHL, NLA, KHL and in Czech Republic and arrives from Jonquière Marquis (LNAH) now. Picard has played eight games for Jonquière Marquis lately, scoring eight points (6G(/2A). The Canadian has already earned the AHL Calder Cup with the Norfolk Admirals 2012 and with Servette Geneve the Spengler Cup (2x). With the Swiss team, Picard has also played in the Champions Hockey League 2014 and has already faced League-opponent EC Panaceo VSV.
