With EK Die Zeller Eisbären and Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan, two teams have already qualified for the semi-finals of the Alps Hockey League. The remaining two semi-finalists could be confirmed on Tuesday. Both Rittner Buam SkyAlps and SIJ Acroni Jesenice lead in their series with 3:1.

SIJ Acroni Jesenice - S.G. Cortina Hafro
Jesenice won the first three games of the series against Cortina (2:1/OT, 4:1, 7:2), but suffered a clear 1:6 defeat on Saturday, meaning that a fifth game will be played on Tuesday. The Slovenians will play this one at home. While they have won six of their last ten home games, Cortina have been winless in five of their last six away games.

Rittner Buam SkyAlps - HC Meran/o Pircher
Defending champion Ritten won 5:2 in Merano on Saturday to make it 3:1 in the series, giving the “Buam” their first chance to advance to the semi-finals on Tuesday. They won 3:0 in the first home game, but suffered a 3:4 defeat in the second game in front of their home crowd. Overall, it was one of only three home defeats in the last ten games, while Meran have only lost one of their last six away games.
