Around halfway through the second Salzburg turned the game around with four straight goals in less than seven minutes. Aljaz Predan, Filip Varejcka and a brace of Oliver Nordberg gave them a comfortable 4:1 lead. 30 seconds to go in the second the hosts pulled one back on powerplay and later made it a one-goal game again thanks to Tadej Cimzar in the 6th minute of the last period. EC „Die Adler“ Stadtwerke Kitzbühel – HK SZ Olimpija 2:7 (1:3, 1:1, 0:3)
Referees: DURCHNER, GAMPER, Marchart, Martin. Spectators: 599
HK SZ Olimpija booked its seventh straight road win, after dominating EC “Die Adler” Stadtwerke Kitzbühel 7:2. Ljubljana took revenge for the home defeat earlier this season and remains – together with Rittner Buam – the first chaser of leader HC Pustertal Wolves. Kitzbühel got its first home defeat after three consecutive wins. The Slovenian side wasted an early power play but still got off the better start as Miha Zajc lit the lamp for the first time. After Peter Lenes made the equalizer for the hosts, again Zajc recaptured the lead for the third-ranked team. Olimpija had the better of the play and Anej Kujavec added a third. Kitzbühel pulled again one back as Peter Lenes realized a double power play occasion for the “eagles”. But the guests had their rhythm on the offensive end. Ales Music made it two-goal difference again around halfway through the second. Later in the last, the home team took too many penalties and Ljubljana used a single and a double power play for a clear 6:2 lead. Soon later, Gregor Koblar rounded off the score.

Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan – VEU Feldkirch 3:2 SO (0:0, 2:1, 0:1, 0:0)
Referees: LEGA, PINIE, Terragni, Vignolo. Spectators: 624
Second consecutive game for the Broncos at home and same formation that overcame the Fassa. The only absence is that of the Canadian Kyle Just for technical choice. The first half is in balance with the two teams that create little in attack for a very tactical race. As a logical consequence, the first frame ends without goals. In the second the race is more fought and fun. Before the middle of the game, the Broncos took the lead with the new arrival of Mitch Nardi on a rebound, who scored his first goal in Alps. After four minutes the Broncos double with Tommy Kruselburger: the attacker leaves the bench and then runs towards Alex Caffi's goal. But the Austrians don't give up. The bomber Robin Soudek halves the disadvantage for a race that reopens completely. In the third period very high rhythms and draw of the VEU again with Robin Soudek (49'). Then neither of the two teams is able to find a winning cue both in the final minutes of the third and at the overtime. Nardi decides the match on penalties. The Vipiteno wins by 3:2 and always remains in eighth position at four points from the Feldkirch that precedes him in the standings. For the Austrian side was the 5th defeat in a row. The two teams, however, lost ground towards the top 4 positions of the standings.
Goals WSV: Nardi (28./Sotlar-McNally, 65.PS), Kruselberger (32./Bustreo-Gschnitzer)
Goals VEU: Soudek (37./Stanley-Jennes, 50./Jennes-Birnstill)
Rittner Buam – EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau 7:3 (3:1; 3:1; 1:1)
Referees: VIRTA, WIDMANN, Bedana, Holzer
Full revenge for the Rittner Buam who beat the EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau by 7:3. The Austrians on the first day of AHL had beaten the Ritten with the same result. The home team was at full strength and the first minutes were all in favor of the Buam who found a ready Mathieu Corbeil. Then the second penalty of the first period literally turned on the game. The home team hit a pole in powerplay but shortly after Marc-Olivier Vallerand realized in shorthanded the advantage of Lustenau. But the host’s reaction was immediate and deadly. After 92 seconds the top-scorer Alex Frei signed the draw. In eleven seconds the Ritten almost closed the accounts against the opponents with the goal of the foreigners Olegs Sislannikovs (in powerplay) and Patrick Luza (17'). In the central period the Renon turned off any reaction from the opponents. With Chris D'Alvise and David Kreuter simultaneously in the penalty bench, the Ritten once again exploited its great powerplay. At 27.43 Thomas Spinell dropped the poker, 65 seconds later the defender Andreas Lutz joined the list of scorers. Shortly afterwards, the Swede Henrik Eriksson, who overtook Mathieu Corbeil by 6-1, also made a party. Lustenau, on the other hand, always relied on Marc-Olivier Vallerand, who found his personal double for the 6-2. After 17 seconds of the third period captain Dan Tudin scored the seventh goal of the Buam, four minutes later Philipp Winzig fixed the 7:3 final. The Ritten remained in second position with Ljubljana: both teams fare away 18 points from the Pustertal. For the home team it is the twentieth success in the last 22 games. The defeat cost a lot to Lustenau who lost two positions as they slipped to 6th place.

Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey – EC Bregenzerwald 6:1 (3:0; 1:1; 2:0)
Referees: BENVEGNU, GIACOMOZZI F., Bergant, Markizeti
Asiago was complete while Bregenzerwald had ten key palyers absent. A good start for the home team and after five minutes it took the lead with a winning deflection of Josè Magnabosco on the shot of Enrico Miglioranzi. Asiago was well determined and the doubling came shortly thanks to the great work of the fourth line with the goal of Michele Marchetti. At half time of the first the power of the yellow-reds continued with the third goal of the evening and the beautiful action of Marco Rosa. The home team remained always dangerous in the second period with the post of Alex Gellert. Before of the midle of the game, in double powerplay, Lustenau scored the first goal of the evening on the rebound of Gregor Waldhauser. But Asiago returned to play with a lot of concentration and before the end of the second Enrico Miglioranzi achieved 4:1 with a backhand shot. In the third the home team controlled the game and then sank the opponent with the spectacular personal goal of Marc Naclerio. Two minutes later, the hosts restarted in a situation of numerical inferiority: Rosa served Bardaro and the top scorer did not make a mistake as he fixed the final result (6:1). Asiago gained one position as they led to 5th place in the standings.

S.G. Cortina Hafro – HC Pustertal Wölfe 1:2 SO (0:0; 1:1; 0:0; 0:0; 0:1)
Referees: LAZZERI, MORI, Cristeli, De Zordo
Cortina couldn't have Giacomo Pompanin and Alessandro Zanatta at its disposal. The Pustertal was full for the first time in the season. Marko Virtala was back after his injury at Asiago on January 3. Bruneck started with a lot of power and immediately put pressure in the first minute at the net of De Filippo. Then the game became very tactical with few opportunities on both sides and for the first 20 minutes there were no goals. The game lighted up in the second: the two teams played an open-face match and created many more chances. Shortly after halfway through the game, Luca Barnabò scored the first goal for the Cortina but after 6 minutes the visitors drew with a first intended shot by Cody Corbett. The final period was absolutely exciting but the second ended in a draw (1:1). In the third Cortina has more determination and desire to win but the defense of Val Pusteria was also very careful about the penalty of Ivan Althuber. Even at overtime Bruneck was careful to kill another superiority of the opponents who couldn't overcome Colin Furlong. On shootout Marko Virtala achieved the decisive one for the 2:1 of the Wolves.
Goals COR: 1:0 Luca Barnabò (31:59/Ayotte-Bruneteau);
Goals PUS: 1:1 Cody Corbett (37:24/M.Virtala-Hofer); 1:2 Marko Virtala (65:00/SO)
