Ritten and Broncos Move to 3:0

Rittner Buam SkyAlps continue their winning streak, claiming victory for the 12th consecutive time, or the third time in the quarter-finals. Right from the first period, the hosts made their intentions clear: Rittner Buam built a 3:0 lead in the first 17 minutes. EC Bregenzerwald couldn't get back into the game and eventually lost 0:5. Marco Insam scored a brace in this match. Thus, Ritten has three match pucks for the semi-final entry.

Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan also won their third quarter-final match against EK Zeller Eisbären. Unlike the previous two games, the Broncos managed to secure a rather convincing victory this time. However, the first two periods were still balanced. After 40 minutes, the score was 2:2. Then, the Broncos accelerated in front of their home crowd, scoring three goals in the final 13 minutes of the last period. The Broncos eventually won 5:2, securing three match pucks for the semi-final entry.

Juniors Take the Lead Again

The Red Bull Hockey Juniors take the lead again in the "Best-of-Seven" quarter-final series against the Hockey Unterland Cavaliers. For the third time in a row, the home team won this duel. Following the Cavaliers' clear victory on Thursday, the team from Salzburg responded with a "blow-out win". After a goalless first period, the Red Bulls gained a 2:1 lead in the second period. In the final period, the hosts took full control of the game, scoring five more goals to establish a final score of 7:1. Thus, the Red Bull Hockey Juniors lead the series 2:1.

Merano/o Arrives in the Quarter-Finals

After two clear defeats, HC Merano/o has made it to the quarter-finals. Following an early setback away at S.G. Cortina Hafro, Merano managed a double strike in the second period. However, Cortina equalized still in the middle period. In the final period, Merano showed hunger and eventually won 4:2. This allowed Merano to reduce the gap in the "Best-of-Seven" quarter-final series to 1:2.
