The fast-paced first period began to the liking of the Ritten Buam SkyAlps. After a few missed chances, Robert Öhler deflected a Hjorth shot - 1:0. The Croatians turned the game in their favour with goals from Bronte and Briere (PP). Shortly before the first break, Cuglietta scored - also with a man advantage - to make it 2:2. The game continued at a high pace in the middle third and both teams initially missed good chances. The home side went ahead again in the 35th minute when Insam (PP) scored into the short corner. The home side finally decided the game with two goals in the third period.
