Colin Furlong of Regular Season champion Rittner Buam SkyAlps only conceded two goals in three games in the quarterfinal series against the EC Bregenzerwald so far. He even celebrated a shutout in the 5:0 home win on Saturday. In total, the 30-year-old Canadian saved 109 of 111 shots on his goal in all three quarterfinal games, with the 41 saves in the 2:1/OT away win in game two being the highlight so far in addition to the shutout.

This is Colin Furlong's first season with the Rittner Buam SkyAlps and his sixth in the Alps Hockey League. The Canadian was previously under contract with the HC Pustertal and the HC Gherdeina valgardena.it. Furlong has already celebrated four shutouts this season, and with a save percentage of 93.4%, he also has the best save percentage of all Alps Hockey League goaltenders. In the playoffs, Furlong has saved 98.2% of all shots on his goal so far. That's an average of just 0.61 goals against per game. Hayden Hawkey of Cortina follows in second place with 93.8% and an average of 1.34 goals against.
