EC Bregenzerwald - Rittner Buam SkyAlps
The reigning champions from Klobenstein were the first team to punch their playoff ticket, the Buam have won their last five games and are also top of the table. With 135 goals scored, Ritten has the best offense in the league, and Ethan Szypula is also the top scorer with 64 points. Bregenzerwald, on the other hand, have only won one of their last five games and are in second-last place. The Vorarlberg side has won seven of their ten games this season at home. The direct season comparison is 1:1, with both teams winning once away from home.

EK Die Zeller Eisbären - Hockey Unterland Cavaliers
After the rather poor performance of the polar bears on Tuesday against Salzburg, the team showed a reaction on Thursday and, despite a still shortened lineup, delivered a sparkling clean away game and put HC Meran in their place with a 4:0 victory. Head coach Marcel Rodman's second-placed team were thus able to achieve their first major goal of the season: to secure a place in the playoffs. With six defeats from their last seven games, Unterland missed the chance to finish in the top five, while the Cavaliers are currently in ninth place. Zell am See narrowly won the first two duels of the season.

Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel - KHL Sisak
After six wins from its last eight games, Kitzbühel has a good chance of qualifying for the playoffs early. The Tyroleans have the second-best offense and third-best defense in the league. Sisak, on the other hand, have lost their last five games and slipped to eighth place. The Croatians still have a chance of finishing in the top five, but are currently 14 points behind. Sisak won the first two matches of the season 4:1 and 5:1.

HC Meran/o Pircher - S.G. Cortina Hafro
Merano's three-game winning streak came to an end on Thursday with a 4:0 loss to Zell am See. The South Tyroleans are currently in seventh place. Cortina, on the other hand, are in fifth place. Despite yesterday's home defeat against Ritten, the blue and whites are in a good starting position for direct play-off qualification. The first two duels of the season went to Cortina.
