With the signing of Rok Tičar, HC Falkensteiner Pustertal has finalized its roster for the upcoming season. The Slovenian center brings extensive international experience and returns to the win2day ICE Hockey League following previous stints in Klagenfurt, Vienna, and Graz.

Today’s transfer completes the fixed roster of HC Falkensteiner Pustertal for the 2025/26 season. The South Tyrolean club now has 22 skaters and two goaltenders on its lineup. Rok Tičar has been announced as the final addition.

The 36-year-old Slovenian looks back on a long and diverse career in professional international hockey. Tičar received part of his development in Sweden before making his debut with HK Jesenice in the former Erste Bank Eishockey Liga (EBEL). In 2009, he moved to the German DEL, where he played a total of four seasons with Cologne and Krefeld.

His career continued with five seasons in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), as well as one year in the Swedish SHL with IK Oskarshamn. In 2020, he returned to the ICE Hockey League and has since played 274 league games for EC-KAC, the Vienna Capitals, and the Graz99ers, collecting an impressive 227 points as a left-handed shooter.

Tičar has also been a mainstay on the Slovenian national team. The forward participated in twelve World Championships and represented his country at the Olympic Games in Sochi (2014) and Pyeongchang (2018).
