The iClinic Bratislava Capitals and head coach Peter Draisaitl have agreed to continue their cooperation. The 55-year-old took over the team from Slovakia at the beginning of December and led it straight into the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League playoffs in its debut season. He recorded 17 wins in 38 games from December 5th on. "I was able to settle in with the team pretty quickly. We have big ambitions for next season - and we want to achieve the goals we have set," said Draisaitl, who will continue to have assistant coach Jiří Šolc at his side.

Linz tabs American defender
The Steinbach Black Wings Linz have strengthened their team for the upcoming season in the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League with Chris Rumble. The US defender last played in Norway for the Stavanger Oilers and prior that three seasons in the DEL. "With Chris, we signed a solid two-way defender who has good offensive control of the puck and can produce a good finish from the blue line. Defensively, he plays very physical and he knows how to block shots. We expect him to produce on both ends and show physically tough hockey," Linz head coach Dan Ceman said.

Paul Huber remains at Salzburg
EC Red Bull Salzburg and Paul Huber have agreed on a longer-term contract extension. In the past bet-at-home ICE Hockey League season, the 20-year-old forward scored four goals. "I feel very comfortable in the Red Bulls team and working with the players and coaches. I've been playing in Salzburg for a while now and for me, it was clear to stay with the Red Bulls. In the last year I was able to improve in all areas, I made progress on and off the ice and I'm looking forward to the next years in Salzburg," said Paul Huber.
